Where will sessions be held?

Our therapist will travel to Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas such as (but not limited to) Livingston Parish, Ascension Parish, and Iberville Parish. Most sessions are done in-home, daycare, or public community setting like a public library or park upon request.

Do you accept insurance?

Play. Learn. Progress. is a private pay provider. This means we do not bill insurance companies directly, and payment is due at the time of service.

We accept payment via cash, check, and all major credit cards (including HSA/FSA cards). HOWEVER, see below for more information regarding the potential of using Out of Network benefits to get reimbursed for these services.

How can I use Out-of-Network Benefits?

While we don't bill insurance directly, our services are often covered by out-of-network (OON) benefits. We can help you navigate this process!

Upon request, we will provide you with a monthly "superbill" (an itemized receipt) that contains all the necessary information (diagnosis codes, procedure codes, and fees) for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

How to Check Your Benefits:

We strongly recommend calling your insurance provider before starting services to understand your coverage. When you call, ask these specific questions:

  • Do I have out-of-network benefits for pediatric speech-language therapy?
  • What is my out-of-network deductible, and how much of it has been met?
  • What percentage of the cost is reimbursed after I meet my deductible?
  • Do I need a physician referral or pre-authorization for services?
  • How do I submit a superbill for reimbursement?

We are happy to answer any questions you may have about this process.
